For the first time is represented on a World(global) Congress GSM in an extremity of February, 1999 in Cannes, France.

Has sizes, as at the predecessor 6110, from 8110 has borrowed sliding flip. Despite of external similarity, 7110 has completely new, earlier not meeted at one mobile telephone functions.

At first, it is integration with Internet. The telephone has built-in microbrowser and possibility of dispatch of the computer mail. Together with the huge graphics display 65x96 pixels with dynamically changed fonts it enables really to use many possibilities Internet. It is necessary here to mark and availability built-in IrDA of the adapter for connection with the computer.
